Will my donation be tax-deductible?

Yes, the The Learning Gardens is a 501(c)(3) Pennsylvania non-profit organization with a Gold Seal of Transparency from Candid (formerly GuideStar). 

You will receive a receipt following your donation. If you donate multiple times throughout the year, we will send you a receipt detailing all of donations for the year by Jan. 31 of the next year.

Why should I donate?

Your support will help us provide educational and cognitive therapy at reduced cost for learners experiencing financial hardship. Learn more about how your donation will help on our donation page. Hear about the impact of educational therapy on our learners lives in our testimonials.

Can I donate online with my credit card, PayPal, Venmo, or other digital payment platform?

Yes, go to our donation page to donate online or if you prefer to donate through PayPal or Venmo.

Can I donate with cash or check?

Donations of cash or by check may be sent to The Learning Gardens at 181 Guillard Rd., Prospect, PA 16052. Checks should be made out to The Learning Gardens.

Do you have any matching incentives?

Right now, we are looking for matching funds for our Giving Tuesday goal. However, your gift may qualify for a match through your employer. See if you qualify.

Can I contribute to this work on a regular basis?

On our donation page, you have the option to sign up to give monthly.

With just 30 donors giving $25 a month, we could provide a year of free educational therapy sessions!

Can I donate in honor or in memory of a loved one?

Yes, you absolutely can! Just check the box on Zeffy for "Make this donation in honor or in memory of someone" and you will be able to select whether you would like to donate in honor or in memory and then you can share the name of your loved one in the box. 

You can also include a note with a cash or check donation or write "In Memory of..." or "In Honor of..." on the memo line of your check (if it fits). If you encounter any difficulties, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at info@the-learning-gardens.org 

I have a birthday/ graduation/ wedding/ other important event coming up. How can I start a fundraiser to benefit The Learning Gardens for my event?

Do you accept non-cash donations?

Yes, you can purchase and donate materials from our wish list. We also accept donations of property, stock, Bitcoin, and other non-cash assets.
