Dr. Russell has extensive experience supporting neurodivergent learners of all types. She is also neurodivergent herself and so she understands that everyone learns differently and that sometimes, neurodivergent learners need different strategies. 

Dr. Russell will help your child identify:

• identify where in the learning process they are struggling,

• specify what content that they are having difficulty understanding, 

• and then work with them to develop strategies to overcome these challenges

Unlike traditional tutoring where the tutor just reviews terms and definitions and explains concepts at the learner, Dr. Russell utilizes research-based methods to ensure that your child is engaged in the learning process throughout the session, so that they develop their own understanding of the key terms and concepts and they leave with strategies and guidance to improve their Psychology comprehension and performance.
